Hello! I am a writer and illustrator from Minnesota.
I live in the lovely small town of Stillwater in a very old cottage.
I love art, animals, trees, plants, cooking, interior design, gardening, fishing, and sports.
I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 horse named GusGus.
Illustrating nature, plants, trees and animals are my specialty, but I love to draw new things and challenge myself. Writing and illustrating my own books is a dream come true, but I also love illustrating other writer's stories. Finding a way to enhance their story with art is such a fun puzzle to solve.
Collaboration is my favorite part of my job. Learning from others, receiving feedback on my writing or illustration only makes it better! Being in a room with other creative people trying to problem solve a storyline or illustration is inspiring!
